Molykote TP 42 Paste is a grease/paste formulated with solid lubricants and lithium soap, making it ideal for use with metallic friction combinations.
It is a hardwearing lubricant that offers a wide range of impressive characteristics; it has a high load-carrying capacity, strong adhesion, resistance to washout by water and metal machining emulsions, prevention of stick-slip, good corrosion protection, and excellent protection against galling.
The product is ideal for sliding metallic surfaces exposed to high-pressure loadings and influenced by water or metal machining emulsions. It comes highly recommended and has been successfully used by leading clamping element manufacturers, particularly for chucks on metal processing machines.
